Captive Web January, 1998 to Present - Web Developer Web Site: Magic: the database (http://www.captiveweb.com/magic) Coordinated the development of this site developed by Captive Web, including layout, content and graphics. I encoded all of the HTML and ASP scripting on this site. Web Site: Ozette (http://www.captiveweb.com/ozette) I developed this site for Captive Web, including layout, content, HTML, JavaScript, and graphics.
Captive Web Internal: I assist in maintaining company intranet site. I developed and maintain a search engine ranking site that lists the keywords and their rankings on all of the major search engines. I also administer an NT based local area network (LAN) at home.
Kelly Services, Technical Division January 10, 1998 to January 17, 1998 - Microsoft NetShow team
Responsibilities: Worked closely with the Microsoft Technical Support Group (TSG) to record the audio portion of the 1998 Microsoft Technical Briefing (MTB). The MTB is an annual training seminar for Microsoft staff and partners regarding new products, updates and services, as well as corporate strategies. The project entailed using PowerPoint (PPT) to record the audio portion of each training session, then transferring the files to the editing suite. In the editing suite, I was responsible for monitoring a bank of five computers running Windows NT and converting the incoming PowerPoint files to ActiveX Streaming Files (ASF) format for use with Microsoft Netshow. Half the time I worked in the editing suite converting .ppt files to .asf. The rest of the time I worked recording training sessions.
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development May, 1995 to December, 1997 - Paralegal Specialist Responsibilities: I provided legal support to a staff of six attorneys in HUD's Northwest/Alaska Area office. My duties included providing legal research, acting as liaison between various courts and the Office of Assistant General Counsel, scheduling discovery proceedings, procurement of court reporters and process servers, the finalizing and filing of legal pleadings and other legal support functions. I also served as the local computer technician and designed the intranet web site for the Office of Assistant General Counsel, for which I received a performance award in August, 1997. I created a web based legal support handbook for the office� intranet site, which is used as a reference by the legal staff. I assisted the administrator on the HUD intranet site by converting graphics into a format suitable for publishing on the Web.
March, 1992 to April, 1995 - Legal Clerk Responsibilities: Worked closely with the lead paralegal in the office and received on-the-job training as a paralegal. Provided general legal support for the office. Served as local computer technician. |
